Diet Diary

Follow Me As I Lose Weight

First of all this is a very different diet than we are used to hearing about. I am writing about my journey to help me, my family, and others also. If you disagree in this program please post it in my guestbook. I will read them when I can but at first I want encouragement most of all. All advise is appreciated and I look forward to a positive outcome.

DAY ONE
Well so much for good starts. I agreed to have lunch with my mom at Journey's end. It is a buffet place with southern cooking. I ate vegetables but did cheat with some macaroni and cheese and some of the tapiaoca pudding stuff. But I am going to be great from here on out.
I haven't been hungry since lunch so I went to Whole foods and bought some things for dinner.
I had the McDougalls Vegetable Soup. It was not bad. My family is not happy with the no meat. They feel it needs more seasoning. I am not real good about adding seasoning so I just made it as per the recipe. I had a salad with it. I bought some no oil dressing at Whole Foods. It was hard to find. It is a vinegar/onion. It was okay...sweeter than I expected. I also had some grapes and Whole grain seeded bread. After dinner, William wanted to make a Herbalife shake. He was not real satisfied with the meal.My daughter left with my granddaughter to go out to eat. I am going to try something a bit different for tomorrow. I hope it works. I really need support to get started with this.. I really want this to work even if I just try it for 10 days to see how I feel. I really want it to work for William the most. I want him to feel better.
Bowl of grits for snack.

DAY TWO
Well, good news, I have done pretty good so far. I had some hashbrowns with onions for breakfast. No oil. I had some lemonaide for lunch..possibly not McDougall approved but no sugar. I was amazingly not hungry for lunch and when I got home with James from Summer Camp I popped some popcorn. No butter or oil. For dinner I had the vegetarian sloppy joes on whole wheat buns with corn on the cobb and orange slices. I feel sorta tired but I think that is situational rather than diet related. It is hot outside, and I have some personal issues at home.

DAY THREE
I had some oatmeal for breakfast and a fresh pear. I took James to summer camp and Ryan, a teenager I tutor in Math went with me. After I dropped James off I worked with Ryan for a few hours. I had diet lemonaide. It was made with Splenda and I doubt it is really McDougall approved...but I feel as if this is a graduatual but permanent eating change. We went to a Japanese restaurant for lunch. We ate the vegetarian plate. For dinner tonight I made whole wheat baked ziti, salad, and sliced pears. I am not at all hungry. I hope I have made wise decisions today. My family is not happy with the change. They are only eating what I prepare for dinner. William is not eating Breakfast or Lunch and Larry is talking about his double cheeseburger at McDonalds. Christy has gone somewhere so she can get meat for dinner. She says she read a book called "Eat Right For Your Type" and feels she is a true carnivore. I have been on this diet for three days. My goodness my family is being nuts. I need support. I want support here. My hope is to re-evaluate how I feel, how I weigh,  my blood pressure and a few other medical issues. Time will tell. I am also observing that the cost of food is less. Meat is expensive!

DAY FOUR
I feel real good today. I don't know if its the change in my eating or not. I had oatmeal for breakfast and a banana. For lunch I had the steamed vege plate at the local Chinese place. I had rice and the won ton soup minus the won ton. It really filled me up. I brought the chicken wing and the egg roll back to the house for whoever wanted it. For dinner I had leftover Ziti and a salad.
My mother called today and we chatted for a while. She expressed an interest in my diet and that made me feel good. It was nice to feel supported even if she does not diet this way.
I tried to go to bed early since I was extra tired from taking Mark to see a dying friend in the hospital. James has been coughing and feels a little feverish.

DAY FIVE
(Happy Birthday Mark)
James has been feeling bad. He has been coughing and a slight bit feverish. He did feel up to going to camp. He seemed to have a great day. I went to the tot Shabbat which was real nice. For Breakfast I had some hashbrowns with an orange. I was so busy today that I forgot about lunch. I was hungry for dinner. I went out with Marks girlfriends family for dinner to Olive Garden. I wa afraid it was going to be a challenge but I think I did okay. I had the pasta with vege sauce with steamed veges. It came with salad and bread. I also did have a small slice of cake for his birthday. It really was small. I feel like I did okay. I don't feel like I have the support at home that I need. William wants me to stay on this diet and seems supportive, but Larry and Christy do not see the need in healthy eating. Larry said that eating like he has worked for him for 47 years. Christy says she cares nothing about eating healthy. She wants to enjoy eating and could care less about living a long life. I am so surprised. I look around and all I see are overweight people. I see that they are going to end up having heart bypass surgery and heart attacks. I don't see people who are really serious about their health. They just go to the doctor for more medicine and do not look at the obvious.

DAY SIX
William and I go to Get Fit Gwinnett to weigh in this morning. It is also my dads class reunion brunch at Shoneys. I will see how I do at that.
Well, William is a bit bummed. He gained a pound. I guess what does he expect. He is not eating until late in the day and then he had fettuccini alfredo last night.
I lost almost 2 lbs. I took my dad to Shoneys for his high school reunion brunch. I had sliced grapefruit, grits, hash browns(not too many because they were probably fried in grease) a salad with cucumbers. Considering it was Shoneys all you can eat, I think I did pretty good. This is such an unusual diet compared to other popular diets that my support seems to be nowhere. I did get hungry late in the day and had 4 pretzel sticks. Thats really all I needed. Then later for supper we went to Sweet Tomatoes. I had Green Pea soup, a little salad and pasta, a little of everything. I feel pretty good about what I ate there.

DAY SEVEN

Wll, the weekends are the hardest and we usually go to IHOP for breakfast. I know fish is not on the diet, so you might say I cheated today. I did have the grilled Tilipia. I had broccoli with no butter and a baked potato plain. We went to Jaemore foods to get some fresh fruit and veges. I did drink a diet orange soda for snack. I feel like a few no nos is okay because I am limiting all oils and no cokes and no meat or dairy. I am going have Mexican food for dinner and I think I can do quite well.
I went to El Rodeo and had a Chalupa with no cheese. The refried beans they said were just boiled and mashed with nothing added. It also had lettuce. I had a few nacho chips too. Too tempting to resist.

DAY EIGHT
Met my mom for lunch at Journeys End. Sort of a tough place to McDougall. You all need to watch out. Just because it is veges...doesn't mean it is healthy. Lots of restaurants add lard and butter in large quantities to veges. This is one such place. I did not have meat and tried to load up on fruit but had some veges. I did have some macaroni and cheese. My weakness. We went to Chick fil a so James could play in the play place and we could talk. They brought around small little shot containers of peach milkshake. I had one. Shame shame.
Came home then had to take Mark to the funeral home in Riverdale. His friend died. We went to my favorite Japanese Restaurant for dinner. I had rice and veges. I made sure they added no meat to my rice. I had salad with no dressing. I found out they were closing in two weeks. I am bummed.

DAY NINE
William and I went to Japanese for brunch. I had rice and veges with plain salad. I had them make my rice without meat in the back. It really kept me full for all day. Late at night William and I went to Walmart to get some swim wings for James. He was hungry so we went to Waffle House. I had the hash browns with onions. I asked for no oil. They hate that...but they will do it. I am still drinking water only.

DAY TEN
Went to breakfast with James. Taking him to a swim date with his friend Mei li. He wanted to go to Waffle house. I had the same thing as last night. Hash browns with onions. I shouldn't have had onions since I tutored Ryan with Math. He probably could smell my breath a mile away. I did have a Chick Fil A mint so I didn't run everyone away with onion breath.
Went to lunch with William at a Chinese place after tutoring Ryan. It was sort of a disaster. The won ton soup was chicken stock(what did I expect) But even worse, it was so salty I could not eat it. I guess good thing. Then I ordered the rice and veges. But the veges were soaked in some chicken stock base. I pretty much only ate the rice. I did have two small tea cups of hot tea. Then I went shopping at the mall while James stayed swimming. Later I stopped at Chick Fil A on the way to pick up James and got a Diet Lemonaide.
Now sitting here and catching up on my diet diary I am eating 5 pretzels.
I am getting slightly hungry. Before going to bed I had a couple of bites of a sweet potato and a peach. I had a glass of diet grape soda. I don't think this is a McDougall thing...but I am still pretty proud of how I am doing. I noticed today that my clothes are feeling much looser in the waist.

DAY ELEVEN
Bowl of grits for breakfast with some sliced oranges. Went to lunch with William to Sweet tomatoes. Had salad, rice, baked potato, bread, fruit. Had a taco salad for dinner. I did not eat the bowl. Had a few sliced oranges too. Had a diet orange soda for dessert. oh well.  I still think overall I have done pretty well.

DAY TWELVE
Well the day has come my family was hoping for. They know that 12 was the original time frame to do this diet. But I feel too good to go back...so too bad..I am staying on the diet.
This has actually been the hardest day of all. Mainly because I stayed at home most all day with the exception of taking my daughter to an appointment this morning. For breakfast I had Alpen cereal. I doubt this is McDougall, but there are a whole lot worse. I did have a few tablespoons of milk. I had about 10 triscuits and then I saw William eating some Ritze baked sour cream and onion crackers. I had to try one...which lead to eight. I fixed some more baked Ziti. William wanted some. I had a Cesar salad, some pineapple slices and bruschetta bread. I had a few pieces of watermelon too. Then the problem was James had a Klondite bar. He only ate one bite and then didn't want anymore. I really tried to put it in a baggy to put it in the freezer but decided to eat it instead. It was good, but I cannot slip up like that if I want to continue to lose weight.  Still, better day that before I started my diet.

DAY THIRTEEN
Craving a hash brown with onions no oil at Waffle house. Drank water. Cleaned at my dads house. Wanted to take him out to Japanese for Father's day but he would not go. So I went by myself. It was pretty good. I asked for no oil or butter, and he tried to make mine seperate, but there was still butter in the rice. I had veges(broccoli, zucchini, and onions) with plain salad. I did not eat the soup..but I did have a few of the fried noodles to see how they tasted.
Took James to play at McDonalds. We both had an ice cream cone.

DAY FOURTEEN
Went to IHOP for breakfast for Father's Day. I had a bowl of grits with no butter. I did put in three packets of sugar. I didn't eat but about 1/2. I had a banana too. Water to drink
Had an apple a a diet grape soda for snack
Larry and I went through the drive through for an ice cream at McDonalds. (I have got to stop this trend). Planning diiner at Chili's. I am downloading their menu so I can review it.
Well, Chili's claimed to have a Vegetarian menu but when I got there really only one thing was available that was on the menu from online and even though it was sorta vegetarian it was 800+ calories. I instead ordered a corn on the cob with no butter and mixed veges with no butter. The corn was not real tasty and I asked what the brown stuff was all over the broccoli and they said it was the garlic butter sauce. I said I did not want butter. The next order they brought be had black stuff all over it. When I asked what it was they did not tell me but apologized and brought be another order. This time, broccoli and carrots loaded with butter. I did not eat it. I did however have some nachos from the skillet caso. I am sure it has meat but I just dipped it in the sauce for flavor.

DAY FIFTEEN
I got up early to go weigh in for the final Get Fit Gwinnett. They said I lost two more lbs. Then I went to have lunch with Charlotte. We always eat at Journey's End. It is a southern cooking type place. I had green beans, rice, two servings of macaroni and cheese(my weakness) a very small amount of roast beef, cornbread, and a small amount of the pistachio dessert. I was a little discouraged with what I ate but my mom said that it was easily under 1000 calories. It will keep me full for all day. We went to Chick-Fil-A so James could play and we could talk. I did have one of the peach shake samples. The employee said they were 35 calories. No telling how much fat... But all in all...it is almost 6p.m. and I am not at all hungry.
My family cooked chicken wings. Does not smell appealing to me so they mock me and it hurts my feelings. I guess they just don't understand.

DAY SIXTEEN
I went to Helen Georgia to visit a friend I have not seen in years. I ate whole wheat toast with all fruit jelly, some grapes. I stopped by waffle House on the way back and had a double order of hash browns with onions. (no oil) I went to the Gwinnett Braves game. I was sorta worried how I would do there. I had part of James pretzel, I had some nachos and did eat a very small amount of the hot cheese. I drank a little diet coke. Then I got a dippin dots for James and had about 5 teaspoons. I am pretty tired and getting a bit of a headache from the heat.

DAY SEVENTEEN
Bowl of grits for breakfast.
Fried rice for lunch with diet lemonade
Apple before bed. I am just not real hungry. I am getting a small headache. I'll bet they did not leave off the MSG with the rice yesterday.
I received another guesbook sign in. I appreciate all the positive stuff and I also read the bad stuff too. I feel like the person that wrote the bad stuff today apparently had nothing of importance to say. I guess their time had little value to them. Who knows, maybe they just wish they could get started on a weight loss routine too. Good luck to them achieving their goals.

DAY EIGHTEEN
Bowl of grits for breakfast. I still put a little sugar on mine. Diet Lemonaide, fruit cup.
One slice of spinach pizza. 6 yogurt pretzels, 5 baked chips.Diet grape soda. I need to quit these sodas even if they are diet. I know they are not good for me.
Supper: Whole wheat vegetarian spagetti, peas, slice of pineapple.
Well even though the spagetti was good, I did not feel too good. I had a terrible headache. I though maybe I had not eaten enough or something didn't sit well with me. I decided to have a few yogurt pretzels. That did not help so William and I went to Waffle House. I had a single order of steamed hash browns. I came home, had a hot shower and went to bed. Still suffering from a headache even into the morning.

DAY NINETEEN
Woke up with a headach but not as intense as last night. I was looking forward to some Alpen cereal for breakfast but after having a bite realized it was not what I was hungry for so I threw it out. Took James and his friend to Monkey Joe's to play. We ordered a slice of cheese pizza for each of us. Then I ordered some nachos and cheese. They didn't seem to want any so I ate it all. We also had some snacks we brought. I only ate 5 graham crackers. Then I did a big no no. The kids wanted some Skittles. I saw some M&M's and could not resist. I saw they were 230 calories and most of it from saturated fat. I still ate them all. And then to top the day off I had a few of the skittles the kids had. I came home and had part of a diet orange soda. Went to Walmart and stopped by Taco Bell with William. Got a tostada and had a few sips of James' diet Pepsi and two cinnamon twists. Well, this has not been my best diet day, but at least it is Friday and maybe I will redeem myself over the weekend. I hope the cake tomorrow at Adrian's party is chocolate or coconut as I hate them both. If its white or Yellow I cannot resist a taste. But I will keep it to just a taste.

DAY TWENTY
I love birthday parties and hate them too. I went to Waffle House with all my boys this morning. I had a double order of steamed hash browns with onions. But then we all went to a 2 year olds birthday party. The food was too good to pass up. I had some barbeque beef, 1/2 a plain hot dog, some chips, a little potato salad, slaw and diet coke. Then came the tough part. Not one but two cakes. Oh my, I had a piece of both. It sure was good. I hope that does it for me for the day. It sure should. Well I am up late on the computer and I just saw a commercial for a toaster strudel. Rats, we have some in the freezer. So I ate it too. Yum.

DAY TWENTY-ONE
Well, I said I would write everything down that I eat, so here it goes. This weekend has been a bust. Went to IHOP for breakfast. drank water but ate 2 egg beaters, hash browns, bananas and pancakes with a small amount of syrup, no butter. Okay after that for a little while then we all went to the Lynard Skynard/Kid Rock concert at Lakewood. On the way I was feeling shaky so I got a bag of white cheddar popcorn. Then I stopped again for something to drink so I had 1/2 bottle of ginger ale. Then when we got to the concert I had a minute maid frozen stawberry ice. Before we left I had a Sprite. (good grief they are small sized and $4 each) Then we went to Krystal on the way home. Naughty naughty. I had three Krystal cheese and most of the french fri. I also got some rasberry frozen ice that I drank maybe 1/2 of. Well, we all have slip ups and we will see how the week to come goes.

DAY TWENTY-TWO
Well after a weekend that was totally blow off my diet, I am ready to start back. My stomach has assured me that if I want to feel better, don't eat like I did Saturday and Sunday.
Breakfast: oatmeal with strawberries, grapes
Lunch: rice, steamed veges, diet orange soda
Dinner: Vegetarian sloppy joes on whole wheat bun, baked french fries, pear slices

DAY TWENTY-THREE
Breakfast: bowl of grits and grapes
Lunch: Went to Kaseys and had veges, a small amount of chicken and deviled egg. Lots of watermellon(yum). No dessert. Unsweet tea (caffeine but no sugar)
Dinner: Vegetarian lasagna, garlic bread, salad with a very small amount of Cesar dressing, mixed fruit in fruit juice, and then had a few M&M's. I feel like I am doing better than when I first started but still not where I want to be. I had more will power a week ago. Then William and I went to the store cause I needed some paper to do my tutoring with and we went by McDonalds for a dipped ice cream cone. I have to stop that if I am going to reach my goal weight.

DAY TWENTY-FOUR
Well, I originally started this program to do it for 12 days and I have doubled that as of today. I have had some slips but I feel that I am eating 100% better than I was. The food choices I make are mostly better. I have lost weight and I will weigh in at 9a.m. and let you know. Weight 193.5 Cholesterol 178.
Breakfast:Steamed double order hash browns
Lunch with friend: Got a great price on a kids meal at the Chinese restaurant. Didnt eat McDougal but the portons were small. I had egg drop soup, sesame chicken, egg roll, broccoli, and rice. Then the big no-no of the day. I had the first coke I have had in several months. I promise it to be the last.
Snack: Two saltine crackers and later tonight I went with William to Taco Bell. I had a cup or water and a small nacho with cheese.

DAY TWENTY FIVE
William asked me if I would take him to the mall to meet his friend so they could go around putting in job applications. So I met his friend Cody, his mom Kathy and sister Hannah. I took James and we looked for food in the food court. I was too tempted and got a Gyro and a cup of water. After we let the mall, James wanted to go to McDonalds. I could not resist a ice cream cone.
For dinner I cooked Perogies with tomatoes, bell pepper, pepperoni and soy cheese. We had a cesar salad, corn on the cobb and bread. I had a few fresh cherries.
I went to the drug store to get a few items only to find it was not a safe place. I saw a bag of the circus peanuts on sale for a dollar. I bought them and ate 8 of them. The serving size was only 6. I should not have had any. I also drank a diet orange soda. Okay. This means war, I must go back to my way of eating when I started this program to lose weight and feel better. Right now, I feel bloated and uncomfortable. I hope I remember this yucky feeling so I do not repeat it.

DAY TWENTY SIX
Busy day ahead. Went to Waffle House for Double order steamed hash browns. James got other stuff and I ended up having some of his waffle about 1/4 of the waffle. I drank water. I went and cleaned at my dads house and then Picked up William and we went to Cici's Pizza. I had 4 slices of Alfredo pizza. I also ate two small brownies and 2 sweet rolls. Shame shame. I drank water.

DAY TWENTY SEVEN
Went to IHOP for breakfast as usual on the weekends. This is not my favorite place to go. Ordered grilled fish with no butter, broccoli (no butter), baked potato with no butter and garlic bread with no butter. Water to drink. The first bite of the fish, realized that it was smothered in butter. So too was the bread and broccoli. So I ate the potato and nothing else.
Went to see the fireworks with William. Went to Kani House for dinner. Ate soup broth, salad, rice and veges. Water to drink.
Happy 4th of July!

DAY TWENTY-EIGHT
I think the lack of support from my family is taking its toll. I want to get out and exercise, be a part of a family and do something. My family wants to play on the Wii and computer. I was able to get William up to go with me to brunch at Sweet Tomatoes. I had a few bites of their breakfast stuff (belgian waffle, cinnimon raisin biscuit, oatmeal) and I had lots of watermelon(Yum!!) I had the strawberry lemonade but no refill.
William and I went to look for something for dinner. We ended up at Krystal. I had two cheese burgers off the grill. I had water to drink. We went to trivia and ordered Nachos. They were stale so I only at two. I wanted a snack and really blew it and had a brownie sunday. I do feel bloated too. Planning lunch with my mom tomorrow. This will be a challenge I am ready to face.

DAY TWENTY-NINE
Went to Journeys end with my mom for lunch. I did pretty good, eating mostly veges, a corn bread, one piece of chicken, some macaroni and cheese and a small amount of the pistachio stuff I love so much. Went to Chick Fil A so James could play. Had a free sample of Cookies and cream shake. My mom and I decided to use out weight loss money(we have been in a competition with each other and each weeks loser puts in $5 in the pot) for a cruise. I hope to feel the best I can for that as well as lose as much weight as is possible to maintain good health.
Went to trivia with Mark and William Had a kids meal. I had a diet coke, grilled cheese, salad and brownie sunday. Small sized for kids but shame shame on the diet coke and sunday.
All and all not really a bad day food wise.

DAY THIRTY
Got up and made a bowl of grits. Had William checked out because of him passing out a few months ago. I am real concerned about his feeling bad and his weight. They are real big into protein which this diet is not. She said that "vegetables are highly overrated." I just doubt that. After the appointment we went to get his meds and decided to eat at Red Lobster. I had a sailors platter. It had a salad, plain baked potato, shrimp scampi, 4 fried shrimp and a piece of grilled fish. I of course ate two Red lobster biscuits. I drank water. Then I went with William to get a frosty at Wendys. I at least had a small...but a no-no. I can already tell that the shrimp, frosty or something is upsetting my stomach. I need to start back eating the way I did the first week I was on this diet. I felt so good. I still feel good, but I have been having some stomach cramps.
Went to Arbys for dinner. Had a beef and cheddar. Couldnt resist the apple turnover and the cashier offered me a taste of the diet lemonade. (Chick fil a) is better. I should have skipped dinner.

DAY THIRTY-ONE
Well, over the past few weeks, even though I am losing weight, I feel that I need to be more careful about teating the right foods.
Had a bowl of grits for breakfast. Not hungry for lunch and went out to Cici's for dinner. Probably not the best choice. I did have three slices of alfredo pizza and a cinamon roll. I did drink water

DAY THIRTY-TWO
Went to Waffle House for breakfast. I had hash browns no oil. Decided to take James to see Ice Age. How I could I resist Snacks? I had a kids pack. It had buttered popcorn, I think it was a regular coke instead of diet. I gave James the candy sampler.
I started Salsa classes today at the Gym. On the way home James wanted McDonalds for dinner. I didnt order anything for me at first and then went back and got a cheeseburger and apple dipper. I drank the diet lemonade. The cheeseburger was awful so I only ate about 1/2 and I did not have the dip with the apples. Now its 11:30 at night and William wants to go to Steak n Shake.
I am planning a cruise. The date is finally confirmed for September 20. If I am going to look better and feel better for the cruise, I am going to really need to kick it in high gear. Well, Steak N Shake went okay. I had a salad with very little dressing. I drank water.

DAY THIRTY-THREE
Got up and decided to try my new wok and rice cooker. I steamed some rice and made some stir fried vegetables. It was pretty good. Then we went to the pool. I had a bag of chips and a peanut butter sandwich. I had a bottle of water. Went to McDonalds to play and I had a ice cream cone.
I had three pretzel rods for a snack. Stir fried some more veges and rice. Cooked some chicken for the carnivores in my family. I didnt have but one small piece to see how it turned out.
With days like this, I am really going to have to buckle down if I really expect to loose more weight by the cruise.

DAY THIRTY-FOUR
Went to Sweet Tomatoes for brunch. Had some salad, watermelon, spegetti, and muffin
Went to a dance party. Had some cuban rice, small finger sandwich, a brownie and a diet coke. Danced until after 1 a.m. Great time

Chatted on the phone with a friend until after 3 p.m. then went with William to Waffle House. Ate a large order of hash browns and a water. Then late that night William and I went to Sonic for a banana split. I really am convinced I am lactose intollerant. Everytime I eat something with milk I get a terrible tummy ache.

DAY THIRTY-SIX
Ate lunch with my mom. I had green beans, macaroni and chese, rice, cornbread, and some of the marshmellow tapioca stuff. I drank a diet coke. Later Mark and I went looking for an apartment for him and we stopped to get James an ice cream and couldnt resist one either. We went to trivia at our favorite place. Went to Japanese for lunch with William. I had the vege plate. I had a salad and soup with fried rice.

Went to Roadhouse for dinner. Terrible service and food. Had a few rolls. They were great. Had a salad and the rest of the food I could not eat. Which was probably best.

DAY FOURTY-TWO

Lunch with my mom. We weighed in and I had lost two pounds.Five mints. What a weakness. I ate green beans, black eyed peas, macaroni and cheese, a piece of fried chicken, a piece of cornbread and a small serving of the pistachio pudding stuff. Diet coke
I bought a dress for the cruise. It is one size too small. I am goaling it to fit for the cruise.

Later went to QT for gas and got a corn dog and a bag of popcorn. Had a diet caffeine free coke. Frustrating day. Went to Krispy Kreme with Mark and had two glazed donuts. Then went for dinner to Krystal. Had two cheeseburgers and 1 1/2 chicks.

DAY FOURTY - EIGHT
Went to Sweet Tomatoes for breakfast. As much as I like their lunch, they should get out of the breakfast business. Nothing was very good. I had a slice of watermelon a little grits, a muffin, a belgian waffle.
I do not feel good today at all. Perhaps the way I have eaten has made me feel bad and I will learn from it. I am a bit depressed as my money situation is not what I would like. My brakes are getting worse on my van and I am not sure how I am going to get them fixed. I spent all my money this past month on getting William's health checked out as I have been so worried about him passing out and just sleeping all day. I know if this whole family ate better they would feel better too.
Fixed Japanese for dinner:fried rice, stir fried veges.

DAY FOURTY-NINE
Went to eat with my mom at Journeys End. Had fried chicken, green beans, cornbread, macaroni and cheese and pistacho pudding. Not the greatest diet meal.

Decided to shop as it was my last day of camp in Johns creek. Went to meeting with Alice and Lynn. I had an ice cream cone. Went with Lynn to Hallmark store. bought two things of candy. Oh my. Ate a crackle chocolate bar. Went to La Cazuela for dinner. Had a tostada with beans and lettuce. Water to drink. Ate the other thing of candy on the way home. It was sugar babies. DAY FIFTY-FIVE
Okay...when I first started this diet, I lost weight. Now I have leveled off. It only makes sense, because I have not eaten as I should. So, it is time for me to go back the way I was eating at the beginning of this diet. However, we don't have anything here to eat at the house...so I ate about 1/2 cup of dry cereal. Brunch at Sweet Tomatoes(salad, pasta, fruit, soup)
Went to Waffle House for dinner. Had a hash brown with onions. I drank a hot chocolate. I was freezing.

DAY FIFTY-SIX
Went to McDonalds for breakfast. Had a egg McMuffin, hash brown and coke. Not what I should have. Went to Dairy Queen for lunch had a barbeque sandwich, onion rings and water. Had an ice cream for desert. Went to the mall and had a brownie sunday..what was I thinking. I did share it with James
Went to trivia for dinner. Had a salad and a grilled cheese with a diet coke. I hope tomorrow will be better. I need to start back over.

Sorry about not reporting...
DAY 267
I am having surgery Friday to remove all the extra skin. I feel so much better. I have quit cokes, butter, and most meats. I only occasionally have some chicken. I almost never eat fried foods. Basically just when I go out with my mom to Journeys End I will have a little bit. I eat lots of fruit and veges. I am still struggling to drink enough water.
