Flavorings:Salad dressings are almost always laden with oils and dairy products which makes them unacceptable. Consider
a wedge of lemon or a dash of vinegar for your salad. Use salt sparingly.
Beverages:
Order water-its the ideal beverage. Non-caffeinated teas are available at most restaurants.
Practical Breakfast suggestions:
Hot cereals, oatmeal(without butter, cream or milk). If necessary add sweeteners such as honey, or maple syrup. You may
want to add a small amount of apple, orange or other sweet juice.
Cold cereals among a list of acceptable foods such as shredded wheat, grape nuts,Skinners raisin bran.
Fruits
Just limit to two a day while losing weight
Hash browns and home fried potatoes (without oil)
Whole wheat toast without butter
Practical lunch suggestions:
Baked potatoes eaten plain or with some chives, onions, vegetable seasonings, lemon juice, or a little salt.
Salad bars (without oils, mayonnaise)
Vegetable soups

Steamed vegetables (without butter and cheese)
Salad
Whole grain brown rice
Egg free noodles with oil-free marinara sauce.
Some restaurants may have oil-free vegetarian minestrone soup
For pizza find a place that uses whole-wheat flour and little or no oil in the crust, and oil free tomato sauce. Followed
by onions, green pepper, mushrooms and tomatoes.
FAST FOODS
Wendy's have baked potatoes and salads
Burger King has a Veggie Whopper just ask to leave off the mayo
Chick Fil A has a nice fruit cup of fresh cut fruit
Waffle House will steam hash browns without oil.
Chinese or Japanese Fried rice with no MSG, oil or egg. Its very filling.
